Home sweet home

Scotland here I come! Whoopa whahey! I simply can't wait! Just booked my tickets to come to Unite! I'll arrive on thursday 30th of November and leave on tuesday the 5th of December. Are you all excited? Well I am!!!!! Ofcourse I'm only coming to collect the things I left behind... Just kidding! I hope to see lots and lots of people and ofcourse I want to see my favorite dog in the world...

Strictly Streep

Meryl Streep is tha bomb! A must see: The devil wears Prada. Ignore the name, the movie is so funny! Never thought I could really hate a Meryl character in a film but she's so cruel! Which is quite hilarious! The ice cold looks she can give...ough! And her sharp remarks...mamma mia! I've always been a Streep fan but she definately gained some extra points. Anne Hathaway is good but fades next to La Streep! And lots of hotties on screen as well... Run to the cinema!

Rock the stadium...

Darlene Zschech is amazing! What a mighty woman of God. I went to this big concert of Hillsong and Darlene in the Gelredome Stadium. What a great party for the Lord. She rocked the place. Well God did, but she gave Him a hand! The Ronduit Praiseband from Holland warmed us up. But you know what, as soon as Darlene entered the stage, the level of praise just rised. I don't know what that is. And the best thing is, you just forget all about Darlene. It was just me and God and lots of singing. Such an amazing feeling to stand in a stadium with thousands and thousands of people and feel like you're on your own praising the Lord. Just: WOW!



Oh, one more very important event in my life: I've become a mummy. Oh no, don't worry, this was not a souvenir from Scotland. I've financialy adopted a little girl from Ecuador: Judith and lots of other names I can't pronounce or remember. I'm really trying to be a good mum. Take my responsibility. Any presents for the new mum you can send to Holland. Haha...

Updating my life

Just wanted to give you a wee update on what's been going on since I left Scotland. Well I must say: I've had so much fun. A few highlights:

Je t'aime Brussels. The worlds capital of chocolate, fries and waffles: need I say more... My friend Suzy and moi went for a weekend of fun, food (!) and friensship. Boy did we have fun! That silver ball thing in the background is the Atomium. Brussels rules!

Working 9 to 5...

I'm just like Dolly: working 9 to 5! But I love my job and my boss! I do, I do, I do! No complaints out of my mouth! And the best part is: I just got offered a new contract till the 1st of June! Such a gift from God. I'm loving it!

Last week I was so confused. What to do, what to do!? The Shelter, a christian youth hostel in Amsterdam offered me a job to start in January. The hostel and the people were great, but I just wasn't sure where God wanted me to go. My boss couldn't grantee me anything because the TV world is just very uncertain. So I prayed to God: if I get a longer term contract this week, I'll stay at my current job (the one I love, love, love) otherwise I'll go to the youth hostel. And the next day my boss called me in and said he would be delighted to keep me (what would you expect...haha). God never ceases to amaze me! I have such little faith in Him because I wasn't counting on this new contract at all. Hoping: yes but trusting: no! But God is always faithfull unlike me... I always try to fix everything myself but God is the master director!

Fountain of Delights

My first blog: well howdy folks! Welcome. As some of you might know, my first blog died a lonesome forgotten death...mummy wasn't faithfull... But I will try to take my responsibility now and take care of my baby blog.
Just a wee explanation on the name: Fountain of Delights. This is a line from one of my favorite worship songs 'Beautiful Savior' by Stuart Townend. Jesus is the fountain of delights in my life. He brings me joy and laughter.

All my days I will sing this song of gladness
Give my praise to the fountain of delight
For in my helplessness, You heard my cry
And waves of mercy poured down on my life
