All my days I will sing this song of gladness, Give my praise to the fountain of delight, For in my helplessness, You heard my cry, And waves of mercy poured down on my life

Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas everyone! May your presents this year be faith, hope and love! I've got one more day of work left and then it's party time! Yeah! Well, we've been having a bit of party at work as well. My collegaes are so much fun! We've been playing Christmas golden oldies all day long and don't do much work at all. Just chatting and singing merrily along! Ho, ho, ho!

Hunky spunky

This movie is a hit! So much fun, fun, fun, fun! A real chick flick! The lovely Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet and the cool Jack Black and the hunky spunk of hunky spunks; Jude Law. It's a must see...

My friend Suzy and moi saw it this weekend. After many attempts to try and see the film Babel we failed again. The first time we were going to see Babel, we couldn't go because I coulnd't get back home in the middle of the night, second time our bike crashed (most likely because I was sitting on the back and my weight completely wrecked the tires...after christmas I'll work out again...) and the third time the tickets were sold out. We were so disappointed but wanted to see a movie anyway. The Holiday was a great second choice! And we are even more determined to see Babel.

So lets all run to the cinema and see; The Holiday!

I'm a big girl now!

Home sweet home! I've got my own place again! Whoopa whahey! Fan-tas-tic! Last night I moved into my new flat. Moving all my big stuff on Saturday but I just couldn't wait so I just crashed on the floor. All the essentials are there. Sofa, table, chairs, closet and lets not forget the tv and vcr. And a kitchen filled with all the utensils (no idea how to spell that...) one would need. You can't imagine how good it was to go shopping again and fill your fridge with food you like. To cook for yourself (Chicken Tandoori...yummmmmmy) and to sleep till 7.45am instead of 6.45am. It's weird living on the fourth floor...not in the least because I have to walk up all those stairs! I've never lived in a flat so this is quite exciting. This week I will get myself another bike and explore my neighborhood. Make some new friends! And on sunday I'll search for a good church. So please pray for a spirit-filled church full of life and love.

Once upon a time...

No, this is not real snow... Unfortunately! My best friend Suzy and myself went to this fairy tale parc in Holland. So much fun, you won't believe it! The whole theme parc was transformed into Winter Wonderland. Christmas trees and snow everywhere. Loved it, loved it, loved it! The parc is called Efteling and all of the attractions had a fairy tale meaning. One of my favorites is Villa Volta. The house is cursed after a thief robbed a church (and you shouldn't do things like that!). So the house tilts and turns while you're sitting in a bench. You just don't know how it works but it seems like you're been tipped upside down. But it is all an illusion...whoeeeeee. But still don't know how it works. Very frustrating!
And to make a lovely perfect day even a bit more perfect; we went to see the musical Annie. The dutch version! You should have seen the huge big smile on my face. Loved it from beginnning to end! Want morgen is morgen, dan hoop ik op morgen, dan komt er een nieuwe dag (Tomorrow song)

Haste ye back

What can I say about bonnie wee Scotland? I simply love it! I had such a good time last weekend. So so lovely to see everyone again. Some of the highlights: Unite!, church, dinner at Cairngorm Hotel, Roos Leep, breakfast at Mountainview Cafe, Fish and Chips at Bob and Susanne, fun with Becky in Glasgow!, high tea party at Marilyns new crib!, quality chat with Po till 2.30 in the morning, lunch with Desre, afternoon at the Birtles, lunch and shopping with the Mosdells and last but not least; packing, chatting and chilling with the lovely Sandra and Betsy! Sorry if I forgot anything or anyone... Wow, I must admit I've done loads in only a few days. I had the best time ever! Felt like going home. Scotland has got a very special place in my heart. To be sure, to be sure! Thanks everyone for your very warm welcome and all your love and support. I felt very special and realised how special all of you guys are. So I will haste me back! Or you can all haste ye back to bonnie wee Holland!
